While the JACKALOPE takes over Square One Shopping Centre (P3) from July 10 to 12, Mississauga is also packed with cultural activities to enjoy during the weekend and all year round. To help you make the most of your trip, we’ve rounded up our favorite local gems so you can skip the research and head straight to the best spots on your itinerary.
CJ's SKATEPARK

A premier destination for riders of all backgrounds, CJ’s Skatepark stands as the world’s largest indoor, climate-controlled, non-profit skate facility, located just a short 4 km drive from Square One. The venue boasts a massive 12’ vert ramp, a foam pit, various mini ramps, and a dedicated street-style course. Officially recognized by Canada Skateboard as a national development centre for both street and park disciplines, it provides a highly supportive environment with tailored lessons for every skill level, alongside a well-stocked, budget-friendly pro shop.
Our Golden Ticket winners will drop by the park for an exclusive Golden Ticket day in Mississauga right before the festival kicks off.
SPACE EXPLORER

The world’s largest collective immersive experience is showcasing space in Mississauga for a limited time! Marking the second stop on our athletes' Golden Ticket day, this massive virtual reality exhibition brings the wonders of low Earth orbit down to solid ground. Step into the boots of an astronaut by navigating a cinematic 3D, 360-degree environment captured within and outside the international space station and learn about the daily routine of life in orbit. You will also participate in a simulated spacewalk for a genuinely perspective-shifting view of Earth from the cosmos.
WATCH THE WORLD PLAY

For soccer enthusiasts, Celebration Square, home to last year’s JACKALOPE Festival, is hosting the "Watch the World Play" event throughout the tournament. Located just a short walk from the current festival site, it offers the perfect atmosphere to watch the matches surrounded by fellow fans.
BAD AXE THROWING
This venue offers an event space with an axe-throwing range run by expert coaches who keep the energy up. Perfect for corporate team building or private parties, the flexible layout adapts to any group size and includes a seamless AV setup. The staff handles all setup and cleanup, allowing guests to simply show up and enjoy the experience.
UP THE BLOC
Since 2017, Up The Bloc has been Mississauga’s premier indoor bouldering hub. Located just 7km from Celebration Square, the gym offers weekly route resets, World Cup-inspired boulders, Kilter, Moon, and Campus boards. With great music, free Wi-Fi, full air-conditioning, and a accessible $24 drop-in fee, it delivers a perfectly crafted experience for climbers of every skill level.
KARIYA PARK

Located right in the heart of downtown Mississauga, Kariya Park is a peaceful Japanese-style garden. It was opened in 1992 to honor the twin-city relationship between Mississauga and Kariya, Japan. The park is a quiet oasis designed to bring a sense of tranquility and natural harmony to the bustling city. The perfect place to go if you want to relax before the competitions.
PADDLE ON RENTAL

Whether you are looking to spend the afternoon paddling on the water or watching the sunset from a kayak, Paddle On offers multiple 2-hour blocks to rent your watercraft and enjoy the water. If you're looking for the full experience, you can also book their full moon excursion to enjoy the view at night on a solo or tandem watercraft.
SQUARE ONE SHOPPING CENTRE
