For mountaineer Isabelle Santoire, the theft of her personal belongings at the end of a two-month journey through the Alps marked the start of a new life. A testament to her courage, stamina and dedication, she followed her passion for the mountains and defied the odds to become the twelfth woman mountain guide in France.
