Matthew Rodriguez is a Toronto-based competition climber. He began climbing at age 10 and competing at 12, quickly progressing onto the international circuit. He made his IFSC debut at the 2023 Youth World Championships in Seoul, where he reached the lead final. He went on to win gold in bouldering at the 2024 IFSC Pan American Championships, and has also earned two bronze medals on the North American Cup Series, along with a finalist finish at Youth Worlds. Rodriguez continues to compete across major North American and international events while pursuing studies in graphic design.
