JACKALOPE returns to Virginia Beach from May 29 to 31. Get ready for three days of pure adrenaline, world-class performances, and a festive atmosphere, all right by the ocean.
THE JACKALOPE EXPERIENCE
Whether you're there to see your favorite athletes or just to soak up the crowd's vibe with a drink in hand, this 2026 edition promises to be epic. We've decided to push the limits once again this year by expanding the disciplines program.
In addition to everything we already love, we're doing a unique crossover: we're hosting the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® competition. We're talking about the global elite of competitive lumberjacking here.
True to its tradition, the event remains free and open to the public, offering privileged access to the best action sports athletes on the planet.
THIS YEAR'S PROGRAM
SKATEBOARD: STREET & VERT
As always, skate is at the heart of the festival. Some of the world's best will compete for a total purse of $50,000 USD on our custom pirate ship-themed skatepark and our famous vert ramp. It's also an opportunity to see the 2026 "Golden Ticket" winners compete against the pros — it promises quite a show.
Competitions for women, men, groms, and even the youngest (Pup Cup) are on the program.

JET SKI FREESTYLE COMPETITION
Jet Ski Freestyle promises backflips and high-speed tricks, notably with world champion Parker Scholand. A Freestyle jam including 10 heats of 2 athletes each, giving 3 intense minutes of performance for everyone to impress the judges.

SKIMBOARD COMPETITION
Skimboarding is a water sport derived from surfing that involves gliding on shallow water using a board!
Won by Yahir Valencia in 2025 despite difficult weather conditions, our skimboard competition is back on the coasts of Virginia Beach. Come see the best riders glide on the Atlantic waves... or try your luck and challenge them!
MOTO X & MONSTER ENERGY BMX DEMOS
An enormous launch ramp will be set up on the sand of Virginia Beach for our two-wheeled athletes. The Monster Energy BMX team is returning this year to amaze the crowd with whips, flip combos... and probably some impressive crashes.
In the same family, we find the Moto X crew, and with the roar of their engines, it's hard to miss them. Expect riders like Zach Di Paolo to offer you power, height, and dirt-flying tricks.
URBAN HIGHLINE: YOU'LL HAVE TO LOOK UP
Extreme tightrope walkers will walk on a 100m webbing suspended between the 10th floor of the Hilton Oceanfront and the Hampton Inn. A mix of ultimate concentration and perfect balance, dozens of meters above the ground. New this year: it's no longer a simple demonstration, but an invitational competition. The tension will be at its peak!
Don't worry, they will be attached ;)
A slackline initiation station will also be set up on the beach to try to imitate the pros. The perfect place to learn the basics with good guidance.
SKYDIVE AND LANDING ON THE BEACH
The show isn't just on the ground: Skydiving is back in full force at the festival this year. Having become a highlight of the program, elite parachutists will once again take to the sky to land directly on the beach, in an area prepared for this purpose.
That's what the JACKALOPE experience is all about : No matter where you look, the action is everywhere. Between the skate modules and the dizzying descents from the sky, the festival guarantees a 360-degree show where every second offers something even crazier than the last.
ROLLER SKATE COMPETITION
The roller skate competition will take place in the pirate ship-themed street skatepark. The format is simple: we start with a 90-second Open Jam to warm up, followed by individual 60-second runs to allow the judges to crown the best riders of the day.

ADAPTIVE SKATEBOARDING
JACKALOPE fest is proud to highlight adaptive skateboarding, a discipline that redefines our vision of sport every year. It's a unique opportunity to see how the passion for skating pushes the boundaries of the imaginable. We will have the honor of welcoming athletes, such as Kanya Sesser, who defies the laws of gravity and proves that the love of sport knows no barriers.
THE JACKALOPE VILLAGE & AFTER PARTIES
LIVE MUSIC ON THE NEPTUNE STAGE : The festival would not be complete without a lineup of artists. We have free concerts every evening with guest artists and DJ sets presented by Monster Energy.
VENDOR VILLAGE : Explore our vendor market featuring local and international brands, skate shops, and unique creators to bring back a souvenir of the fest.
FOOD TRUCKS : A varied selection of the best food trucks in the region to grab a bite between contests.
