Tony Hawk, nicknamed “Birdman”, is an American professional skateboarder, entrepreneur, and founder of Birdhouse. A pioneer of modern vertical skateboarding, he landed the first documented 900 in 1999. Hawk turned pro at just 14 and gained widespread fame through the Bones Brigade videos with Powell Peralta. He later launched the hugely successful Tony Hawk's Pro Skater franchise and is widely considered one of the most influential skateboarders of all time. We were honored to host Tony Hawk as our headliner for JACKALOPE Montreal in 2017 and 2018, as well as JACKALOPE Virginia Beach in 2023.
