Day 2 at JACKALOPE Virginia Beach fueled by Monster Energy was wild. Honestly, even with the high winds messing with the schedule early on, the energy on the beach was unmatched. We had everything today: a legendary meetup with OG legends and the new generation, jet skis throwing huge backflips off actual ocean waves, and the street and vert semi-finals absolutely blowing minds. The culture was on full display, the crowd was hyped, and honestly, if you missed it, you missed out. Here’s a quick breakdown of exactly what went down.
Meet and greet
This year’s JACKALOPE Meet & Greet was one for the history books, bringing together today's top riders and absolute OGs! Fans got to hang out with a dream lineup including Bob Burnquist, Jake Ilardi, Rony Gomez, Micky Papa, Jada Ward, JD Sanchez, Edward Jeffries, Matias Dell Olio, Kanya Sesser, Maurio McCoy, Harley Meagley, Julian Christianson, Collin Graham, and Manny Santiago.
To top it all off, the legendary Steve Van Doren made a last-minute surprise appearance while on a road trip to Michigan, putting the perfect final touch on an unforgettable, legendary moment!
MOTO X demo et highline

Jet ski, Karma roller battle & adaptive skate demo
Late afternoon brought massive waves crashing onto the beach, giving the jet skis the perfect opportunity to fire up the crowd with mind-blowing tricks like insane backflips and massive 20-foot airs! Meanwhile, the energy skyrocketed on the Neptune Stage with the Karma Roller Battle, an incredible show that beautifully blended sport, dance, and hip-hop culture. To top it all off, the Adaptive Skate Demo left everyone speechless, as these phenomenal athletes completely tore up the street course, stomping heavy hitters like a 360 flip fakie in the bank and a flawless noseslide bigspin down the ledge. Pure adrenaline and culture at its finest!

Semi-Final Vert & Street fueled by Monster Energy
For the vert semi-finals, Reef Orlando put on a clinic, stomping a mind-blowing alley-hoop cab bigspin, while Jojo Jones electrified the ramp with a massive ollie 540. Collin Graham also turned heads by effortlessly floating a full cab heelflip and a super clean fakie-to-fakie 540.

The street session was packed with insane highlights: Zav Matthews cleared the gap with a hardflip to flat and a frontside flip, while Ivan Monteiro and Bailey Seager both handled the rail with perfect 270 lipslides. Maurio McCoy left everyone speechless with a kickflip gap to smith, alongside a caballerial backside tail on the bump to ledge. Micky Papa stomped his signature big heel boardslide on the massive down rail.
