Jake Ilardi is a pro skateboarder from Osprey, Florida. He gained international attention as a member of Team USA at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, where he competed in the inaugural men’s street event. He confessed that skateboarding saved his life by giving him an outlet and something to look forward to every day. It taught him that even if you fall down six times, you get up the seventh and you keep going.
