Saturday at JACKALOPE Mississauga 2026 was pure fire! The weather was flawless for the second day in a row, bringing clear skies and a blazing sun. The Square One City Centre P3 parking lot was absolutely packed as we dove straight into a unique Vert Side Show before moving into the Street Semi final. Here is how it all went down.

VERT SIDE SHOW: CHANNEL BLITZ & COMBO MAYHEM
Instead of a standard jam, the Vert crew ran a quick two-part Side Show focusing on the 10-foot channel and back-to-back combos. Jojo Jones stole the show, linking a historical backside 540 kickflip body varial into a frontside 540. Bob Burnquist sent a heavy gap to frontside noseslide over the channel, Luke Kahler dropped a technical eggplant double kickflip grab, and Gustavo Fujikawa stamped a heelflip body varial 540. The two MVPs of the showdown were Viktor Solmunde, who shut it down with an Indy 720, and Rony Gomes, with a flawless frontside caballerial. Huge respect to the rest of the riders who kept the session heated!

STREET SEMI-FINAL : PURE MADNESS ON THE YYZ COURSE
Over on the concrete, the Street Semifinals were an absolute battleground on the airport-themed YYZ street course. The final heat featuring Koston Eaton and Micky Papa was easily the most memorable, with both riders dropping nearly flawless runs stacked with heavy rails, switch tricks, and creative transition lines. When the dust settled, Ivan Monteiro took the top spot with an insane score of 86 after a mind-melting 360 flip nose-blunt on the big downrail. He was closely followed by Steven Vasquez in second with a solid 83, and Koston Eaton locking down third with an 82. A massive special mention goes out to the rest of the skaters who fought hard for tomorrow's final, including Silas Aagaard-Hagen, Micky Papa, Guillaume Brunelle, and many more.
